(in which she recalls her Hollywood film and life experiences), "I really do count my blessings. At least I used to; now I get so tired, I have a woman come in once a week and count them for me."

Actually, the point Teri goes on to make is that she greatly improved her life when she found ways to slow down each day and experience simple aspects of life more consciously. Read a little Eckhardt Tolle or most any consciousness writer about being present and grateful.

A wonderful little exercise is to simply stop for 10 minutes and make a list (mental or on paper) of everything you can think of for which you are grateful. Count your blessings and then watch the change in your experience of the rest of your day.

Gratitude Tunes Your Core Vibration

The vibration of Gratitude cannot be overstated. But before THINK AND GROW RICH, Napoleon HIll published, in 1928, a nearly 1200 page book called THE LAW OF SUCCESS "Teaching for the First Time in the History of the World, the True Philosophy upon which all Personal Success is Built," to quote Hill and published by The Ralston University Press in Meriden, Connecticut.

You can read this phenomenal, life-transforming 16 lesson course online — at no cost — by going to the following link:

LAWS OF SUCCESS - 16 LESSON COURSE

A PERSONAL STATEMENT BY THE AUTHOR (NAPOLEON HILL):

Some thirty years ago a young clergyman by the name of Gunsaulus announced in the newspapers of Chicago that he would preach a sermon the following Sunday morning entitled:

"WHAT I WOULD DO IF I HAD A MILLION DOLLARS!"

The announcement caught the eye of Philip D. Armour, the wealthy packing-house king, who decided to hear the sermon. In his sermon Dr. Gunsaulus pictured a great school of technology where young men and young women could be taught how to succeed in life by developing the ability to THINK in practical rather than in theoretical terms; where they would be taught to "learn by doing."

The creative person, she adds, "does not think in dollars;" they "think in millions." The failure world, Sears points out, "is heaped high with those who didn't know." In other words most people don't have a CLUE as to what they want to do with their lives beyond safety and self-preservation needs. I recommend this rare book to you because "The individual who hopes for success must become that success in their own mind, at once," and Sears' book shows her readers how to exactly do just that. WODEHOUSE FREE ONLINE BOOK -- UNEASY MONEY

This blog — Dollars Love Me — takes a light-hearted look at The Law of Attraction. So far, I've posted about 51 articles. Scroll down and look at all the titles while you're here.

Also, if you have "had it up to here" with all this talk about The Law of Attraction, you need laughter. The person I suggest to you as the funniest writer who ever lived was — P.G. Wodehouse. During his more than 90 years of life, P.G. Wodehouse wrote over 90 novels and I recommend you Law of Attraction buffs take a break and read his uproariously funny novel UNEASY MONEY (greed and chaos take over when a man leaves a will worth five million dollars).

Click to Read: UNEASY MONEY

When you've finished UNEASY MONEY check out Wodehouse's Bertie Wooster & his manservant Jeeves books, his novels about Lord Emsworth and life at Blandings Castle, and Psmith in the City.

Laughter is, after all, reputed to be the best medicine. Is there anything you can start doing today to power up your dream?

18th and 19th Century German poet, scientist, and author of Faust, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe said, "Until one is committed, there is hesitation, the chance to draw back, always making for ineffectiveness. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred."

Goethe assured his readers that with commitment, "A whole stream of events issues from the decision, working in our favor; all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance that no man could have dreamed would come his way. Frankly, reading them can be depressing rather than inspirational -- not good for the psyche.

A super-serious psyche that isn't entertained by your life is likely to busy itself giving you just the opposite of what you're seeking. We don't want that, do we?

Even if we are feeling a bit desperate about our life situation, it's not a good idea to feed that feeling of desperation into your suggestible mind. Your mind takes every premise you send and acts on it as though that premise were TRUE. To quote a friend, "The desperate life is not worth examining."

The American novelist William Allen White read Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay on "Self-Reliance" when he was a teenager. Years later White would say, in his autobiography, "As I read that essay my spirit expanded as though I had heard the trumpet call of life. I was thrilled and stirred...I doubt if I have ever been moved so deeply by anything else I have read."

Take a look at Emerson's "Self-Reliance" when you get a chance. See if it thrills and stirs you as it did William Allen White when he was seventeen.

Your thoughts are not just whispey things that appear, hang around for a few seconds, and disappear. Your thoughts are Forces. I'd like to suggest you practice the power of speaking into existence the things you want. I suggest you avoid stirring up the energies that work to defeat your deepest desires and dreams by, frankly, not bringing up those subjects.

Here are three places to find great ideas, ideas that will excite and restore your vital reserves. <!-- D(["mb","

First, check out project gutenberg. For those who believe the Source of Power is MORE than that possessed by what I call the sub-attentive mind, look at Bristol's statement about its connection with a "universal hookup;" in other words, a power source outside itself into which it is plugged and draws on for energy to carry out its assignments.

Click to Read: Create Money with the Magic of Believing

Wikipedia on The Law of Attraction

From Wikipedia : "One of the most important early books on this subject in the English language is As a Man Thinketh by James Allen (1864 - 1912), which was published in 1902. The title derives from the ancient Jewish Book of Proverbs, chapter 23, verse 7: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is." Allen took this ambiguous idea of a correspondence between "a man's heart" and his existence to a logical extreme, stating that, "The soul attracts that which it secretly harbors, that which it loves, and also that which it fears. It reaches the height of its cherished aspirations. It falls to the level of its unchastened desires -- and circumstances are the means by which the soul receives its own.[4] "

</sup>

ISN'T IT ABOUT TIME AFFIRMATIONS WERE FUN AND GOT RESULTS?

Excerpt from my article -- DNA information patterns were captured by Russian scientists and the cells reprogrammed (which, I might add, we have the power to do up to a point by altering our self-talk from negative to more optimistic and upbeat). "We are caught in the roughest surf today, and hurled about by it." Financially, many workers feel they are caught in rough surfs and hurled about by them. Do you have a boss like G. Raymond Spurley? Do you have to wonder what your Mr. Spurley is thinking, what his next moves and plans are, and whether you'll have your job when he finishes cleaning house?
